ALESSANDRO - I am a free lance video maker mainly interested in documentaries related with environmental, social and educational issues. I have been living in China for almost six years. I am interested in Taoism and all the practices related to it, internal martial arts like Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
FEDERICA - I have just finished my studies in Naturopathy in Italy and left my home town Abano Terme to live my life dream of traveling around the world. I love Nature more than anything else, i like ancient Chinese culture and its traditional medicine and would like to learn more about it.
We started our trip by land from Shanghai on December 22nd 2011 taking buses, trains and hitch hiking seeking for new adventures.
Our mission is to be hosted by locals, so that we can get to know more about their own culture and traditions. We'd love to do volunteer working related to organic farming, natural buildings and other eco-friendly living ways. Helping in anyways we can rural communities, kids and schools in need. We are both vegetarian and we would love to learn how to cook the local cuisine so that we can share good food with friends!
